Little Hats Big Hearts

This tutorial is made in support of the Little Hats, Big Hearts project by the American Heart Association. Red hats donated to the project are given to all babies born in the month of February at participating hospitals to raise awareness of heart disease and congenital heart defects. Free written pattern is listed below. Deadline: Hats need to received by January 15th, 2016. Go the Little Hats Big Hearts webpage for more info.

If you are using this tutorial to create a hat for your own use, I encourage you to make an additional hat and donate it to the association. You may also donate yarn to the project or click here to give a monetary donation to the American Heart Association.
